Rainbow Rising

We are thrilled to announce Miss Thalia Campos as our Rising Star for the month of June 2021! Miss Thalia started her Rainbow Rising journey in 2017 at Culverdale Elementary. She has had the opportunity to lead our Kindergarten, Young Riser, and High Riser program throughout the years. She is incredibly flexible and can jump to support any age group with short notice. Miss Thalia creates a fun environment with her upbeat personality and ability to connect with the children. She shares her passion of books with the children and is able to have everyone involved through the various creative, fun activities and clubs that she plans each month. We are so grateful for all that Miss Thalia has contributed to our Rainbow Rising Culverdale program!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Northwood’s very own Katrina Garcia as Rising Star of the month. Katrina has worked over five years at Northwood. During her time at Northwood she has built countless relationships with the families and children. She truly cares for each child and her efforts to go beyond what is expected of her never goes unnoticed. Northwood is grateful to have her on their team. She comes in each day with a positive energy that is contagious and creates a fun environment for everyone around her. Northwood staff and families are blessed to have such a caring and responsible person, like Katrina, we are thrilled  that she was recognized for her effortless work each day.

We are extremely excited to announce Miss Taylor Blas as Rainbow's Rising Star for the month of March. Taylor has been with Northwood since 2017 and has recently became our Master Teacher. Taylor is a huge support to Northwood, and we are so beyond proud of her accomplishments. She has such a positive attitude the moment she walks through the doors and is always willing to help others. Taylor has created such meaningful and loving relationships with each and every child that attends Rainbow. We are so lucky to have such a sweet, caring, and passionate person working at Northwood. Keep up the good work Taylor, you deserve this award. 

It is with great pride that we announce Courtney Cecil as our newest Rising Star. Ms. Courtney has been with Rainbow Rising for two years, working at multiple sites. She is currently a lead Master Teacher at Rainbow Rising Cadence Park.  

Ms. Courtney is dedicated, hard-working and creative. She has a passion for art, as well as a passion for helping others. She always makes sure that her team have what they need in order to be successful. We can’t wait to celebrate all of her future growth and accomplishments within the company. 

Beacon Park is so excited to have Paloma Douglas selected as February's Rising Star. Paloma started her journey with Rainbow Rising at the age of 18 in 2015 at our Meadow Park site. She has grown tremendously over the past five years and is now a Master Teacher. While she has experience with all age groups, Paloma currently runs the Beacon Park young riser program.

Her passion for the job is second to none. It's amazing when you have a teacher that cares about her kids like Paloma does because it allows her to view Rainbow as not only a job but a fulfilling passion as well. We can't wait to see what's in store for Ms. Paloma in 2020!!!

It is with great pride that we announce Ms. Marissa as our Rising Star! Ms. Marissa has been with Rainbow since June 2016 and is currently a Master Teacher in Training at Westpark. She is someone who is always working hard to create a fun and loving environment for the children. She shares her passion for the community with the children by planning activities every month to help them be involved.

Ms. Marissa goes above and beyond to help each program at Westpark be the best it can be. She does this by pushing those around her to do their best, caring for the families around her and being there for the children everyday. She is an amazing part to the Westpark team!

It was with great pleasure and excitement that we get to announce Meadow Park's very own Jessica Espinoza as this month's Rainbow Rising Star! Miss Jessica has been a part of Rainbow Rising Meadow Park since May 2018. Since her arrival at Meadow Park, she has played a key role in the development of new staff and the program. Miss Jessica was also crucial during Meadow Park's transition from its home site, to a temporary site (due to Meadow Park Elementary School's renovation during the 2018-2019 school year). She is extremely passionate about her job, and it shows every day with her positivity! The relationships Miss Jessica has formed with the children is awe-inspiring, showing how passionate and dedicated she is. Her innovative and resourceful lesson planning gets all the children involved and excited to learn! Rainbow Rising Meadow Park is grateful to have Miss Jessica!

It is with extreme excitement that we announce Jaren Philleo as this month's Rainbow Rising Star! Mr. Jaren has been a part of Rainbow Rising Meadow Park for over a year, and has been a very positive influence to the children and staff.

Mr. Jaren comes to work every day with a smile on his face, and an energetic attitude! During his time at Meadow Park, Jaren has created meaningful relationships with the children, their families, and the staff. Rainbow is very grateful to have a wonderful staff like Jaren!

We are extremely proud to announce Gissell Guerrero as Rainbow Rising Star for the month of November. Miss Gissell has been part of Rainbow Rising for 4 years and has grown very much over time. Miss Gissell began her Rainbow journey at the West Park location as a Teacher’s Aide. She is now officially a Master Teacher and the leader of the High Riser program at Bonita Canyon. Miss Gissell is such a hard worker and her passion for the program is seen every day.  

Miss Gissell is always very positive and is always willing to go above and beyond for the children, families, and staff. We are very lucky to have such a kind, considerate, and ambitious Master Teacher be a part of our Bonita Canyon Center.

We are thrilled to announce Mrs. Jessica as our Rising Star! Mrs. Jessica has been with Rainbow Rising since July of 2017 and is currently a Master Teacher in Training at Westpark. She is someone who is very passionate about working with children and is always going above and beyond what is asked. She brings a positive attitude and is always excited to do something fun with the kiddos. 

Mrs. Jessica pushes everyone around her to grow and to make the program the best it can be. We can't wait to see what her future holds!

We would like to congratulate our September Rainbow Rising Star, Marcela Garcia! In her 2 years with Rainbow she has dedicated herself to the children and families of many programs and is currently shining in her role as Assistant Director at Greentree.

Her genuine care and respect for everyone that she interacts with creates a wonderful environment for the staff, families and children at Greentree. We are so proud of Marcela and could not be more excited to celebrate her! We look forward to seeing Marcela continue to grow and share her passions with Rainbow. 

It is with great excitement that we announce Ms. Karina as Rainbow's Rising Star! She started at Beacon Park 2 years ago as a teacher. She's now officially a Master Teacher and the leader of the High Riser program at BP. Her positive attitude radiates throughout the center. She is a beacon of light that can be depended on no matter the circumstance. Karina is always willing to step up to new challenges and help those in need. Beacon Park is so grateful to have Ms. Karina in our program and we are excited for the years ahead!

We are so proud and honored to announce Cassia as our newest Rising Star. Cassia has been with Rainbow Rising College Park since 2006', and has been a huge asset to our program. She strives to make a difference in the kids lives, and helps create a positive environment for the children to learn and grow in. Cassia exemplifies what it means to be a leader, team-player and role model for all of us around her. Her love for arts & crafts is shared at Rainbow with all of the children. She is responsible, caring, honest, and fun loving. Cassia truly leads my example and supports the core value of Rainbow Rising. Cassia is a blessing to work with and we are thrilled that she was chosen as Rainbow's Rising Star. 

It is with the greatest pleasure and extreme excitement that we announce Miss Hailee Ronningen as our April Rising Star! Hailee has been with Rainbow Rising since 2015. Hailee first started her Rainbow journey at Meadow Park, and recently returned to MP this past summer, as the Assistant Director. With Meadow Park moving to a Temp site this year, Hailee played a very important part in assuring the smooth transition from old MP to the temp location. She came in with a positive attitude and has made such a positive impact on the children, staff, and parents. You can usually find Hailee walking around and making sure the program is running smoothly. Hailee is so deserving of this award, as she has been her Director's right hand since she came to MP. The relationships that she has already developed with the children, families, and staff, in the short amount of time she has been at MP, is wonderful. She is so passionate and it shows every day! Rainbow Rising and Meadow Park is extremely fortunate to have Hailee!

We are thrilled to announce Lauren Solorio as March’s Rising Star. Lauren recently joined the Beacon Park's team as an Assistant Director coming from Cypress Village Rainbow Rising.

Lauren approaches every day with a positive attitude and great energy. She has the amazing ability to connect with children, parents and staff on a personal basis. We are truly blessed to have Lauren on our Rainbow Rising team. We can’t wait to see her continued success at Beacon Park!

We are so proud to announce Miss Rochelle Harrell as February’s Rising Star! Rochelle started her journey with Rainbow Rising in 2015, and has grown so much from her experience working at multiple sites. She is an excellent example of what it means to be a team player. Rochelle exemplifies all the wonderful qualities families and children look for in an Assistant Director. She goes above and beyond her duties on a daily basis and always searches for way to improve our program. Rochelle’s loving nature towards the families, kids and staff is inspiring to many people. She starts every day ready to lend a helping hand and support Northwood wherever she is needed. Congratulations Miss Rochelle! Thank you for being YOU!

It is with great excitement that we announce Miss Nina Marquez as our newest Rising Star. Nina has been with Rainbow Rising Bonita Canyon for 2 years. Nina always has a positive attitude and is always making the children feel comfortable and excited to come to Rainbow. She always goes above and beyond to make sure the children always have everything they need as well as making sure they are enjoying their time and having fun. Nina has created such a meaningful relationship with all the families. She is very deserving of the Rising Star award; she is amazing at what she does everyday and her passion to strive for an outstanding program shows through her work.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce Mrs. Liz Flores as our newest Rising Star! Liz has been with Rainbow Rising since 2015 and has spent her entire tenure at Meadow Park! Liz has become the backbone of the Meadow Park family as she consistently goes above and beyond with her duties. She comes in with a positive attitude every day and you will never catch Liz frowning or having a bad day. Liz constantly puts the program on her back and always makes sure the children and the program come first. Liz is extremely deserving of this award. She is a wonderful human being, and a very hard worker. The relationships that she has developed with the children, families, and staff is just remarkable. Her passion truly shows every single day. Rainbow Rising is so fortunate to have Liz!

It is with great excitement that we announce Mr. Bradly Valenzuela as our newest Rising Star. Bradly has been with Rainbow Rising Beacon Park less than a year, joining our team during the summer. He is always positive and his personality is such a great influence on everyone in our program. Bradly is continuously engaged with the children and works hard to keep the children involved and excited with their activities and projects. He has a love for Theatre and has been able to bring that love and energy to our Young Riser group. He will be responsible for directing a holiday musical for all the children to participate in.

We are excited to announce Andrew Neeley for November's Rising Star. Andrew has been such an amazing addition to the College Park team this year. Although he has been with us for less a year, he has really shown his passion for working with children. He brings a positive attitude to the center, as well as all the centers he visits. Andrew is continuously engaged with the children and is always there to help them with any issues that arise. Andrew has a love for jokes and pranks and has been able to bring that fun and excitement to our Young Riser group. They are excited to try new jokes and pranks with peers and the staff that it is extremely entertaining to watch them have so much fun! We are extremely lucky to have him apart of our center and apart of Rainbow Rising.

We are extremely excited to announce Amanda Shusted as Rainbow's Rising Star for the month of September. Amanda joined the Beacon Park team as their Assistant Director in Training in July and the transition has been seamless. Over the past 4 years she has devoted her life to child care services in Orange County.

Her ability to relate not only the children, but the parents and staff as well, is what really makes her shine. She's devoted to providing the best possible experience for every child in the Beacon Park program. We feel truly lucky to have such an amazing asset at Rainbow Rising and we can't wait for more great things to come.

We are so excited to announce Ms. Shanyce as our Rising Star! Shanyce has been with Rainbow Rising since the summer of 2016 and is currently a Master Teacher in Training at Westpark. She is someone who always goes above and beyond to create the most enjoyable experience for our kiddos. Shanyce is constantly creating new and exciting games and activities and is truly someone the children can't wait to see. 

Shanyce not only inspires our children everyday, but also other staff. She is a wonderful leader who strives to help others grow, while continuously working to continue her own growth. We are so fortunate to have Shanyce at Rainbow Rising Westpark!

We are so proud to announce Miss Jackie Cazares as our Rising Star! Jackie has been with Rainbow Rising since September of 2017 and is currently a Master Teacher in Training at Eastwood. She shows great enthusiasm with the children and is always putting our children’s interests first & planning fun, exciting, and engaging activities.

She always has a positive attitude and loves to go to help out at other centers. Her excitement for Theater has her traveling through all of our Rainbow Rising centers this Summer to teach theater to all of our children! We are extremely grateful to have Jackie here at Eastwood with us. Congratulations Jackie!

It is with great excitement that we announce Mr. Adam Garcia as one of our newest Rising Stars. Adam has been with Rainbow Rising Cypress Village for almost a year, joining our team last summer. He brings his positive and contagious personality to the center and is a delight to be around. Adam is continuously engaged with the children and works hard to keep the children involved and excited with their activities and projects. Adam has a love for Board Games and has been able to bring that love and energy to our High Riser group. They are excited to try new games that can challenge them and entertain them while having fun! 

Rainbow Rising is proud to announce Tania Coyazo as May’s Rising Star! Tania has been working at Rainbow Rising since September 2015 and is currently the Assistant Director at Westpark. Tania is a true example of  what it takes to be a successful leader.

She is not only dedicated and passionate in her work, but is also so genuine and kind-hearted with everyone she meets. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Rainbow Rising is so excited to see what her future holds. Congratulations Tania!

We are extremely proud to announce Stephanie Hall as Rainbow’s Rising Star for the month of April. Stephanie has been working for Rainbow for almost 6 years and has grown so much over that time. She started out as a teacher and has transitioned into a Master Teacher and now is the Assistant Director at Alderwood. Stephanie has her AA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Humanities and currently has her Master Teachers permit in Child Development. 

Stephanie shows great enthusiasm with the children and the staff here at Alderwood. Everyone appreciates and adores her greatly. She loves watching each and every child grow in their unique ways. Within her 6 years of working at Alderwood she has established amazing and memorable relationships with parents and children. She takes great pride in keeping the program organized and running smoothly on a day to day basis. We are so proud and grateful to have Stephanie be a part of our Alderwood family and cannot wait to see where life takes her!

We are extremely proud to announce Miles Vose as Rainbow’s Rising Star for the month of February. Miles has been working for Rainbow for 5 years and has grown so much over that time. 

Miles shows takes great pride in creating an inclusive program here at Northwood. The children have really made a strong connection with Miles since joining the team. He loves watching each and every child grow in their unique ways.
