Rainbow Rising College Park aspires to provide quality, engaging care to the children here in Irvine. Here at College Park we offer onsite before and after school care program for elementary school-aged children. Our goal is to provide an array of experiences, such as developmentally appropriate activities, physical education, academic homework programs, and recreational play in order to promote social, physical and emotional growth and development.

Our program provides an exciting and safe environment where children can feel happy and secure in the fact that our staff truly care about them and their families. Teachers work closely with parents and school administration to ensure a positive learning experience through positive reinforcement, consistency and compassion. Rainbow Rising College Park offers part-time and full-time schedules, including care during school intersessions, staff-development days, and an unbelievable summer camp experience.

Kierra Jackson

My name is Kierra, and I have a deep passion for working with kids. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from California State University, Long Beach, with a minor in Mathematics and a focus on Elementary Education. I believe in the power of nurturing young minds and creating engaging, inclusive environments where children can thrive. In addition to my love for teaching, I enjoy cooking and baking, often experimenting with new recipes and sharing my creations with friends and family. I can’t wait to start this new journey as a Rainbow Rising Director, where I’ll combine my love for education and my culinary skills to inspire and support children and their families. I’m excited to make a positive impact in our community!
Jennifer Zelaya
-Assistant Director-
Hello Rainbow Rising families, my name is Jennifer Zelaya and I am honored to be College Park’s Assistant Director. My journey with Rainbow Rising began in 2021 here at College Park. I started as a Teacher's Aide and throughout my years worked other roles such as a Teacher and Master Teacher. I have my Associates Degree in Elementary Teacher Education. I am currently working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies at Cal State Fullerton in hopes to become an Elementary School Teacher someday. Working here at Rainbow Rising has given me the privilege to be every child’s best friend, their biggest cheerleader, and their safe space. I am excited to make lots more mini best friends! Some of my favorite things to do in my personal life are attending baseball games (Go Dodgers!), hanging out with my friends, family, and my dog Nala. As an incoming Assistant Director it is my goal to create a nurturing, supportive, fun, and welcoming environment for all the children and families! I am excited to create more long lasting memories with you all!
